HARROGATE
2008 KGOC(GB) INTERNATIONAL MEETING
Friday 27th - Sunday 29th June 2008
Come and join us at this years international based around the beautiful Spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire
Friday evening
Meet up with new friends and old at the Pine Marten, Harrogate from 6pm for registration. You will also receive a goody bag which includes everything you will need for the weekend.
Saturday
Setting out from the Pine Marten our first leisurely scenic drive thorough glorious Yorkshire countryside takes us to visit:
The mysterious Mother Shipton’s Cave in Knaresborough, the legendary birth place of England’s most famous prophetess. Here you will see the magical cascading waters of the Petrifying Well turn items into stone. We will also have tea, coffee and a tour.
Then on to the spectacular Fountains Abbey the most beautiful ruined abbey in the country. Within this estate are also the tranquil Studley Royal Water Gardens and Fountains Hall. Lunch will be provided.
Our evening meal and prize giving is back at the Pine Marten, Harrogate.
Sunday
Sunday morning will be very relaxed. Meeting at the Pine Marten we will take a very short walk to Harlow Carr Gardens. These inspiring Royal Horticultural Society gardens feature botanical, ornamental and trial gardens.
We will then head off from the Pine Marten to visit the splendour of Harewood House and its large exotic bird garden. Lunch will be provided.
You don’t have to have a Karmann to come! All Club Members are welcome. If you have never been to an international meeting before then why not come to Harrogate and let it be your first.

Accommodation. Harrogate has an extensive range of places to stay. A comprehensive list will be sent to you after we have received your Registration Form. Alternatively give us a call on 01422 831817.
Saturday evening meal. A choice of courses for our evening meal will be sent to you on receiving your registration form. There is a wonderful choice for the vegetarian. You will need to choose what you would like and send it back to us as soon as possible. Please let us know if you have any specific food requirements.
Please complete and return the Registration Form as soon as possible and include a stamped addressed envelope.

Payment Options. You have two options for paying for the event. You can either use our secure server to pay online or if you prefer then you can use the snail mail to pay by cheque.
